Supporting Desirable Growth

Understanding the budget has two sides - expense and revenue. Senator Carson has pushed for a business friendly environment for New Hampshire.

Sharon believes that State government needs to live within its means and practice fiscal restraint.

She does not support an income tax or a sales tax and stood up to a constitutional amendment that would have harmed our local schools.

Invaluable Leadership for Auburn, Hudson and Londonderry!

Welcome to my website!

It has been a pleasure and an honor to represent Senate District 14. I have enjoyed attending events and listening to the citizens living in the towns of Londonderry, Hudson and Auburn during my time as your voice in the New Hampshire State Senate.

This session was like no other in history.  Even though the legislature was shut down, I continued to work with my constituents to get them the information and resources they needed to get through this crisis.  I was assigned to Governor Sununu’s Re-open New Hampshire Task Force, working with businesses and citizens to safely reopen our state and stop the spread of the Covid virus. Your safety was and is of the upmost importance during this pandemic while we return to our normal lives.

Despite very challenging conditions, I was able to work on a number of issues important to my constituents and our State.  With Governor Sununu, we were able to stop a number of tax increases, including an Income tax, which would have harmed working families trying to survive financially during this crisis. I filed and supported legislation that continues to protect our State’s children that is now law.

Education of our State’s children is very important to me.  I supported legislation that gave $10 million dollars to our public schools to protect our children.  I also sponsored legislation to fully fund the Hudson CTE center and that was passed and signed into law earlier this summer.

As an advocate of our state’s veterans, I supported a number of bills addressing issues that veterans face every day. I was proud to sponsor the legislation that presented the New Hampshire Medal of Honor to the family of Captain Ryan S. Phaneuf of Hudson who lost his life protecting our nation.

I take great pride in working for those I represent. I always remember the people who live in this district. They are my neighbors and my friends. They are all of us who live in Londonderry, Hudson, and Auburn, together. As your State Senator, I will continue to represent you and support issues that are important to you and your family. Thank you for your support and I look forward to hearing from you.
